There is no age bar for appearing in the CHA exam.
However you need to complete your Graduation + MBA/LLB/CA/Diploma in custom clearance to appear.

In case you are a G card employee then after 2 years of experience you can apply.

Just for your information the dates were postponed and exam was conducted on 31 January 2014 and the exam is now called the CBLR exam instead of CHA exam. The exam date is fixed on 31 January. So next year you can apply for the same in April to July when the forms will be out.
You have done MIB so you will have working knowledge of international trade but this exam is more towards customs act so you need the law and previous exam guide for studies.

Please note that the CHA EXAM has now become CBLR EXAM.
The exam date is now 31st Jan of every year. In case you did not appear for the exam then you can try next year (2015). Forms will be out in april to july period. Also this year exam paper was different as more laws were added.

Firstly, Yes you are since you have done Masters.
Secondly, there is no requirement of experience for examination purpose. So you can very well appear in the exam, it is scheduled next year in January 30/31.

Academically, you need to possess a professional degree such as Masters / equivalent degree in any of the following:
1. Accounts 2. Finance 3. Management

Does MSW conform to this requirement ? You can check for yourself.

Secondly, No minimum experience requirement is there.

Masters or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or Management is required so I think you can. Plus the college should be recognised.

There is no experience requirement for getting licence to work.
However, experience will be required to make a profit while practising as a CHA. I will send you a public notice about the Custom House Agent Exam on your email.

Hello, I have done my b.pharm and M.S. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing from USA. Currently I have been shifted to India. I want to become a CHA agent and want to appear for the exam. Nope, with B.Tech you can't apply for this licence exam. You will have to become eligible academically.
> Either do MBA or Diploma in Custom Clearance.
> MBA will be costlier and will take 2 years. Diploma in CC will take 1.5 years and much cheaper.
> MBA can be done in any state in India. Diploma in CC is available at Mumbai University.

CHA career will suit your MBA specialization. Once you finish it you can apply.

PROCEDURE:
1. Finish MBA, Get your degree/mark sheet or any proof of completion
2. Fill form at the Customs office in April - May period.
3. Appear for written exam in January
4. Appear for oral exam/interview in the month of June
5. If you clear the interview you will be granted a licence in July on due diligence conducted by GOI. You may be required to open a current account and a proprietorship firm/partnership firm/company/LLC etc.

Incase you don't have fund or do not want to get into business just after this you can very well get jobs in pvt companies, since you are more desirable & deserving candidate. Companies like DHL, FEDEX, DCSC AND PROJECT LOGISTICS COMPANIES, LOGSITICS COMPANIES, AND EVEN EXPORT IMPORT DIVISION OF PRIVATE COMPANIES.
