I lost my SSLC original mark sheet. What should I do now? How can I get a duplicate copy? Can I get the original mark sheet again from the SSLC Board? Should I also file a report in my area's police station?

Procedure to apply for a duplicate copy of S.S.L.C mark sheet:

1) File an FIR in the nearest police station.
2) Take a printout of the application form from (www.icbse.com/forms/cbse/duplicate.pdf). Fill the application form carefully.
3) An affidavit in non judicial stamp paper of 10 rupees should be filled.
4) Prepare a demand draft of the requested amount.
5) Attach identification certificate of a gazetted officer or principal.
6) Attach a newspaper declaration release copy.

Send all these documents to C.B.S.E regional office.
