I am a student of IT and Computer Science(4th sem).I have decided to face NET, but I haven't yet applied for it.Is it possible for me to register myself for NET? Kindly tell me.

Hello,friend let me clear you want face NET- UGC OR NET CSIR but for both of these you should have graduation degree in addition you must be at least final semester of your pg exam appeared so I think you will have to complete the graduation and do the preparation from now.

every year the exam is held in the month of june.
the candidates has to buy the application from the bank which provides the form between the form distribution announcement dates or can even apply online.
For complete information of this test, including subject of the test, eligibility criterion, exam centres, medium of exam, schedule and scheme of the test, syllabus, instruction for online application and list of designated bank branches etc, candidate may refer notification no 10-2(5)/2010(i)-E.U.-II to be published in employment news issue and the same may also be seen on CSIR website.

Students appeared or, appearing in final year of post graduation are eligible for the exam.
So i think you have to wait for some time.

N E T Schedule

UGC conducts NET twice a year, i.e., in the months of June and December. The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September respectively in the weekly journal of nation-wide circulation, viz, Employment News.

You can get the notification in the employment news paper or you can go to http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/net.html for details about the exam and procedure.

the notification will be published in the employment news paper.........so keep a check on it and prepare well for the exam........

how to apply for the upsc exam please give the details as early as possible

Hello friend,
To appear for NET exam, you need to have a masters degree from a recognised institute with an aggregate of 55% for general and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

You have to appear for NET exam in the subject of your master's programme, and if the subject is not covered in the NET list, you will have to go for any related subject.

Firstly I want to tell you that only masters degree holders can apply for NET exam.
So, complete first your masters then apply for this exam.

See the forms for csir net are already available in the market.
As you are science background student you are eligible for csir-net exam which is meant for science studnets.
for the net exam any thing which is covereed in your syllabus can be asked from any where.
so prepare well all the best

now u can not eligeable for net exam bcoz net exam is eligeable for master degree student.

if u want to do Phd then it is best fr u to do net and for this first have msc degree are u p.g student .
