I'm Prabhakar , presently working in Telecom Field(Pvt) in Bangalore, Im planning to apply/Appear for RTO Exams...Age-32 ,Hindu-SC,B.E (ECE)..Is it possible for me at this age & my qualification is ok or other additional Degree required...Pl make it Clear Thanks in Advance...

As per your qualification and age limit ,you are eligible to apply for the post of RTO Sub Assistant Engineer .

RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer.

RTO exam is conducted by UPSC or State Public Service Commission once in a year .

The recruitment in RTO is made for three different posts namely;

*Clerk post

*Sub Assistant engineer post

*Judicial service Post

RTO Clerk Eligibility :

-Qualification:12th class pass in any discipline .

-Age limit : 18 years to 37 years.

RTO Sub Assistant Engineer Eligibility :

- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree holder in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ).

-Age limit : 23 years to 32 years.

RTO Judicial service eligibility:

-Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law .

-Age limit : 23 years to 34 years.


The Exam is conducted in the different stages :

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination.

Interview.

General English

General State Language

General Studies

Eligibility criteria :

For Judicial Service post :

Candidate should be Indian.

Candidate should have law degree from recognized university

Candidate should be between 23 - 34 years.

Candidate can read, write and speak particular state’s language.

For Clerkship Post:

Candidate should be Indian citizen

Candidate should be between 18-37 years.

Candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board .

For Sub Assistant Engineer:

Candidate should be Indian

Age should not be more than 32 years .

Interested students should have B.Tech Degree in any streams like Civil,Mechanical and Electrical.
