How to become a Junior Scientist in ISRO?
Dear Sir, I am Yashwanth.H.M. a student studying in 10th standard (still need to write exam as postponed due to covid-19). I love space science and am eagerly waiting to join ISRO and become a junior scientist there. So I actually don't know the actual courses that I should take in order to achieve my goal. So kindly please send me the pathway of the courses that I should select and study in order to become a junior scientist on ISRO.

Joining as a scientist or engineer in ISRO, one must have qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Computer Science discipline with at least 65% marks in aggregate or 6.84 CGPA in scale of 10. So, you need to choose science stream in (10+2) with PCM subject group and then choose B.E/B.Tech course with discipline of electrical or mechanical or electronics or computer science.
ISRO Scientist/Engineer Eligibility - You must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Science with at least 65% marks in aggregate or 6.84 CGPA in scale of 10 from a recognized university. - Upper age limit is 35 years. Upper age relaxation applicable 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST. Selection Stages - Written Test - Personal Interview |

To join the ISRO, ist thing you needed is you should be a Indian citizen.
Applicants possessing these degrees can apply for the post of Scientist/Engineer in ISRO: **B.E. **B.Tech. **B.Sc. (Engineering) **B.E/B.Tech. degree part-time **Diploma+B.E./B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) **B.Sc.+B.E/B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) |

Procedure to become a junior scientist in ISRO:-
Just after Matric qualification you are not eligible to get in ISRO. You must have graduation with maths as compulsory subject. After graduation you can appear in exam conducted by ISRO, as scientist/ engineer entry scheme . For more information you can visit: www.isro.gov.in. |

To become a scientist at ISRO,you are required to have maths and physics as subjects at 10+2 level.
Then getting admission in IIST can be the easiest tickets to get absorbed in ISRO as a scientist. |
