To become a pilot one has to first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL). To avail this license you should be have passed 10+2(CBSE preferably) with science (physics) and mathematics subjects. Minimum age for this is 16. Also You should register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India to obtain the license. 4 levels of pilot training provide you following license: 1 .Students Pilot Licence 2.Private Pilot Licence which is the minimum required for a pilot to take passengers. 3.Commercial Pilot Licence minimum requirement to obtain a job in airlines as pilot. 4.Airline Transport Pilot License to become a Captain with an airline. To become a pilot is quite expensive. It is between 10 lac to 15lac. But once you become you can have a good career with good salary. You should wait now and complete your study with maths and physics as your subjects in 12th. Also take care of your health as you need to be physically fit, tall and with good eye sight to beome a pilot. Best of luck! |

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th? I am studying 10th class
I appreciate your desire i.e you are aiming for pilot just after 10th But that's not possible. Your minimum qualification must be 12th in order to get eligible for applying through any entry for pilot level. After your 12th you must register at Flying club which is recognized by DGCA i.e Directorate general of Civil aviation which is government india to obtain the license. There will be 4 levels of training as Pilot.
1. SPL for flying at training school 2. PPL This is for pilot to take small number of passenger with him 3. CPL. This is the min requirement to get into Airlines as Pilot 3. ATPL This is for Captain in an Airline For pilot you must choose wise subjects i.e science in 11th and 12th with physics and maths as compulsory subjects. Your age must be more than 16 years after that you can apply for student pilot license i.e SPL followed by PPL i.e private Pilot license and then CPL. Total expense involved for CPL will be 10 lakhs, for Air Line pilot training will be 15 lakh. But you can avail scholarship or bank loans. Otherways are also open like NDA after 12th as Flying officer to become Pilot. |

After 10 you will have to get admission in 11 standard science stream
The subjects that are mandatory to study in 11 and 12 standard are physics ,chemistry and maths You will also have to appear for the entrance exam If you follow the above procedure than you will be able to become a piglet, you will have to study very hard for it |
