Hai...friend...a mechanical engineer with 60% of marks is elgible for RTO post....you must have driving license....there will be a test that is conducted by TNPSC..or any other government exam....for the notifications, exam syllabus and other clarifications just refer the website..http://www.tnpsc.gov.in/....it will be more better way for you...

RTO exam clerk post eligibility * You should be the citizen of India. * You should have the age limit within 18 to 37 years. * You should complete graduate from a recognized institute. RTO exam Judicial post eligibility * You should be the citizen of India * You should have the age limit within 23-35 years. * You should complete graduate in law from a recognized university RTO exam sub assistant eligibility * You should be the citizen of India * You should have the age more than 34 years * You should complete graduate from a recognized university * In particular fields such as mechanical and civil To become a RTO officer minimum qualification is B.Tech & eligibility criteria is :- You should have minimum 60% in your 12th board exam. The exam of Regional Transport Authority (RTO) is conducted by state government of each state.
There are three posts that fall under RTO: (1)Judicial post Eligibilty: ●You should be passed in bachelor degree in law with atleast 55 percentage from any recognised university. ●Age should be 21 to 30. ●You should have Indian nationality. Now, the selection process includes two steps: (1)Written test. (2) Interview. (2) Assistant engineer post. (3)Clerk. (2)Clerk Eligibility: ●You should bee passed 10th class. ●Age should be between 18 to 28 yr. ●Nationality must be Indian. (3) Assistant engineer post: Eligibility: ●You should be passed bachelor degree in engineering with atleast 55% from any recognized university. ●Age must be between 21to 30. ●Nationality should be Indian.
