Engineering degree in CSE/IT is required to get in to the job profile of software engineer. 12th passed candidates having studied PCM can apply for engineering degree in CSE/IT. IIT JEE, AIEEE, or state level entrance test acts as the basis for admission. After completion of the course, you can try for software engineer job in companies like Infosys or Wipro. Public sector companies like CDAC and CDIT also offer such career opportunities.

There are, mainly, two ways to gain expertise in Software Engineering. First and foremost choices are pursuing courses like BTech/ BSc Computer Science, BCA as well as other short-term courses like Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Computer Application and Diploma in Software Engineering, amongst others.
