How can a female candidate join Merchant Navy after qualifying 12th?
Hello Sir, I am a girl and I have recently qualified my 12th Board exams and I want to join Merchant Navy force. So, how can I proceed to join and what should be the minimum qualification required and which entrance I need to pass?

Yes, you are eligible to join Merchant Navy. The procedure to join Merchant Navy for a female candidates is as follows:
•The candidate should have passed 10+2 class or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board. • The candidate age should be in between 16 years to 25 years. • Only unmarried female candidates can apply for Merchant Navy. Eligible candidates are required to appear for the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) or the All India Merchant Navy Entrance Exam.
