IAS stands for the Indian Administrative Services. In order to appear for IAS exam, you need to apply for the Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year.

Eligibility criteria:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

The age limit is 21-30 years with age relaxation given to OBC and SC/ST in upper age limits.
