How can I change my branch from IM to CS in SIT, Tumkur? I didn't do it intentionally but the authorities have allotted me that only which I need to change.

There is always chances for changing the branch by Sliding method.
that is, in this method those students who top the first year with high CGPA is given a chance to move to the desired branch on the basis of availibility of seats. this way, they manage to cover the seats with the available students it self.
However its the choice of the college administration to utilize the Sliding Method or not.
