How can I complete my BCA degree after a year gap from same college?

I was doing my BCA course but due to some reason I was unable to take up exams for few subjects and it's been one year of gap now will I be able to take up exams privately or should I go back to same college and if I'm able to take up those subjects to complete my degree privately where should I approach?
