sir, am Prasad is a 3rd year Btech student at calicut university. iam interested to join army. plc tell me the way for achieving my dream

You can join army by qualifying CDS exam. Engineering graduates can have reputed job positions in Navy or Air force. Coastal Guard has recently invited applications from engineering graduates. Those who qualify written exam should undergo a physical fitness and medical test. Final selection will be done only after confirming whether the candidate is medically fit.

Once you are in the 4th Year of your BTECH you can apply for the UPSC Conducted CDS exams.
This exam is conducted two times in a year

Below eligibilty is for the CDS exams:

Education:
Officers Training Academy (OTA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream
Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH
Indian Navy - BE/BTECH
Indian Military Academy (IMA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream

Age:
NAVY - Between 19- 22 years
AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years
IMA- Between 19- 24 years
OTA Between 19- 25 years

To join Indian Army you have to apply for the IMA and OTA.
