My name is Sarabjeet singh i am from Punjab i just passed out my diploma in mechanical engg. from Punjab i would like to join army for my great country so what will be the procedur to join army after complit diploma. please give detail information about it..............................

Sir, I am Kirti Kumar residence of sainik school Rewa(MP) , how I can join Armed forces after BE(machenical). now I am in final yr of my degree(8th semester)from Rajiv Gandhi Techenical universiy, Bhopal (MP) my percentage is more than 65 in every sem.

heloo friend,

Indian army is one of the defense service of india which is one of the most respected, reputed and brilliant service among all kinds of services present in india.

There are a total of three defense services mainly as :

--Indian Army

--Indian Air force

--Indian Naval forces



All the defense services are same reputed and respected and are considered to be the most wonderful services to join.There are a number of ways to join Indian army as after 12th or after Graduation.


--After 12th,you may join Indian army through an entrance exam named NDA or National Defense Academy.This exam is conducted by UPSC COMMISSION OF INDIA.

You can't appear for this,as 12th is must to appear for this exam.



--After graduation,it is the other way to join indian army through your graduation degree and there are a number of Entrance exam those presents you this wonderful opportunity to join indian army as :

>>UPSC is the commission of india,which conducts exam for the selection of candidates in Defense services.The exam conducted by this is named CDS or "Combined Defense Services".


>>SSC is the other commission which too conducts exam,for selection of candidates into Indian army or any of the defense services or India.



Eligiblity :

1.you must be graduate.
2.you must be indian.
3.you must be below 25 and above 20 years.
4.you must be physically and mentally fir and strong.

You can join Indian Army either through NDA or CDS and the eligibility for them is:

*For NDA ,,One have passed 12th from recognized board.

*For CDS ,,One have passed graduation from recognized university.

To join army,, you have to apply NDA exam.

NDA exam stands for national defence academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

As you know that NDA exam requires 12th standard from a recognized university.

any stream for army wing

Age limits is 16.5-19 years.

You must be Indian citizen as well as unmarried male.

You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

Hi,

If you really want to join Indian Army, then it is a great choice for you, you can see there are less officers jobs after your diploma, like technical entries. If you want to join in the officers rank you can join after your graduation.

If you could have done 12th exam, then you could have written NDA exam also, it is also one of the gate way for Indian army.

Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination :

> This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and a graduate can apply for this exam.

>>You must be a citizen of India.

>>the physical eligibility is :-

>> Unmarried male candidates are only allowed.

UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME

You can also go by this after your engineering,

>>you have to be 19 and 25 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence.

>>Pre Final year students of Engineering Degree Course are allowed.

>>Normally the notification comes in Employment News and leading Daily news Paper, please check it out or at www.upsc.gov.in

You can join Indian Army through NDA(National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC after passing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream or Diploma in any stream from a recognised Board or Institution within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

I am sorry to say that after passing diploma course you can not join Indian Army.
If you want to join Indian Army you have to pass graduation with any strem.
After passing graduation you have to qualify the entrance exam.

You have to qualify the C.D.S entrance exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

C.D.S exam is conducted for Defence Services like:-
> Indian Army
> Indian Navy
> Indian Air Force

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year.

You have to qualify three stage of selection:-
> Written
> Interview
> Medical Exam

Yes you can join the army after your diploma.

You must give the NDA exam for that or complete your graduation in a field of science.

There are some eligibility criteria's that one must follow.
1.You must be a citizen of India.
2.You must be between the age of 16 to 19.
3.You must not have any sort of a chronic disease or any mental distress.
