I'm doing diploma mechanical engineering after 10th.
After diploma i will do be & then
I want to be the part of indian air force,
So can i join indian air force...?

Now it really does not matter if you have not completed your 10+2, because diploma is equivalent to 10+2. Intermediate passed candidates are eligible to apply in Air Force.

You can apply NDA exam to join Indian air force.

NDA exam stands for National defense academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Education Qualification:-

12th standard from a recognized university in science stream

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5-19 years

Only unmarried male candidates can apply NDA exam.

You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

NDA exam pattern:-

General Mathematics

General English and General ability

Syllabus for Entrance Examination

Paper I - Mathematics: (Maximum Marks 300)

Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

Paper II - General Ability

Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)

Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

# I want to inform you that candidate can join Indian Air Force initially after 10+2 through

* National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination
* Open Recruitment Rallies conducted by Indian Air Force from time to time

# For both of entries into Air Force, candidate must be 10+2 compulsorily.

# But in case of Open Recruitment Rallies conducted by Indian Air Force from time to time, it is mandatory to have secured minimum 70% marks in aggregate in 10+2 standard.

# But in the case of National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination, no need of any percentage marks. Only pass marks are sufficient to apply.

# But you are doing diploma in Mechanical Engineering after matriculation. You have not done 10+2. But you are doing diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Here, your diploma will be considered equivalent to 10+2 level.

# If you will be able to achieve 70% marks in diploma in Mechanical Engineering, then you will be eligible for both of following entries for Indian Air Force

* National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination
* Open Recruitment Rallies conducted by Indian Air Force from time to time

# If you failed in getting 70% marks in diploma in Mechanical Engineering, then still you have the option to apply for the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination.

# Simultaneously you have to fall in the prescribed age limit for entries for joining Indian Air Force.

# Prescribed age limit are as follows:

* 16.5-19 years for National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination
* 17-22 years for Open Recruitment Rallies for Indian Air Force
