I have completed my civil engineering in 2016, I really want to join intelligence bureau, how can I join this department? I'm hard working student number from tribal area.

Look to pursue a profession in IB you need to crack ACIO recruitment exam which is conducted by Central Home Ministry. Other ways to join IB is through indirect means i.e through recommendation from HoD, the indirect means are as SSC CAPF in Delhi Police, SSC CGL or State Police Recruitment or CSE exam, Special Recruitment, etc, these are the way where you need to crack it and selected and then get promoted and rewarded for you dedication for the job and then asking recommendation to be transferred to IB or else ACIO is the only direct way to be recruited as IB.

* How to Apply ?

You can apply for the vacancies for Intelligence Bureau of India through an online process (Online form submission).
You can access the form from the official website www.mha.nic.in.
After the filling up and submitting the form, you will get a registration slip which you have to take out as print out copy for future reference.

* Examination Pattern :

* The examination is conducted in written form only.
* The duration of the exam is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
* There will be taken 2 papers :
Paper I - Objective type
Paper II - Descriptive Type on English Language olny.

* Examination Fee :

* For General (male) : 100 Rs.
* For OBC (male) : 100 Rs.

To join Intelligence bureau you have to apply for a Combined Graduate preliminary examination.This exam is conducted by SSC every year.

Eligibility criteria for CGPE:

> Candidate should be graduate in any discipline from recognised University.

> Candidate age should be between 20 to 27 years.

Nationality : Indian Citizen

Educational Qualification : Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university and also knowledge in base computers

Age Limit : min of age limit 18 & max of age limit 27 years.

The upper age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates

Examination Fee : General & OBC Candidates : 100/- & others(SC/ST) No fee

Selection process based on Written Test & Personal Interview

Written test consists of two papers

Paper I :

Type : Objective

Time Duration : 1hr 40Min

Based on the following topics

General Awareness , General Knowledge , Reasoning , Comprehension , Mathematical Ability , Time & Distance , Relations , ....

Paper II :

English writing skill & analytical capability

IF any once qualify in above two papers to eligible (called) to Personal Interview
