I have finished my 12th in commerece. I would like to join the navy? do suggest what to do.

If you are completed your 12th commerce with mathematics subject then you are eligible for Indian Navy

But, first you can crack the NDA Examination,

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I & NDA - II

>> NDA have three Wings :

• Indian Air Force

• Indian Navy

• Indian Army

♦>> For this examination some eligibility criterias are there i.e. :~

• Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution .

• There is no percentage required for this examination .

• Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years .

• Candidates should be a citizen of India.

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination .

• If you are satisfy above all eligibilities then you are eligible for this examination.

NDA is the gateway for HSC holders to join defense. But to join navy, aspirant should have studied physics and mathematics in HSC. All others have the option to join army only. Applicant must be an Indian citizen between 16 1/2 and 19 years of age. Unmarried male candidates are eligible. Further details can be collected from UPSC web portal.

You are not eligible for the Indian Navy after completing 12th commerce.

PCM subjects compulsory for the Indian Navy exam.

To join in Indian Navy first you crack the examination that is NDA(National Defence Academy).NDA examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commissin) twice in a year.i.e NDA- I and NDA - II.

Indian Navy is one of the wing of NDA. Other two wings are Indian Air force and Indian Army.

Required Eligibility for NDA Examination:

**If you are Arts stream you are not eligible for this Indian Navy.

There is no percentage required for this examination.

Nationality:

You must be citizen of India.

Age limit:

Candidates age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There is no age relaxation for this NDA exam.

NOTE: Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible for this exam.Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2013 details:

Qualification: Job hunters must have 10+2 or equivalent examination with Maths &Physics and at least one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer science.

Age Limit: Job hunters must be born between 01 Feb 1993 to 31 Jan 1997.

Selection Process: Job hunters will be selected through the written test, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examination.

Salary: Job hunters will be appointed at Rs. 9300-34800/- with Rs. 4800/- Grade Pay.

How to apply: Job hunters must fill Indian Navy online application form from www.nausena-bharti.nic.in. Fill form properly in accurate manner. After online submission job hunters must take the hard copy of their form and send it along with required documents by Ordinary Post at given address:
