i am btech [ece] 1st year student from tommarow our college begins , my aim is to stand first in the college please give me some suggestions

Hi Friend,
to get 1st in your college you need to attend all the classes regularly without bunking (tough for an engineering student ;-) ).
attend classes regularly and interact with lectureres and clarify your doubts immediately after you get any doubt.
do assignments on your own.
complete the home work in given time and study your subjects regularly.
attend all the labs and do pratcticals on your own.
dont neglect assignments and internals.
if you follow all these i am sure you can get 1st rank.
