I have completed my graduation & i want to do llb from ignou pls. Guide me about the admission criteria & eligibility .

Am I eligibile for admission in LLB(3 Years Course) after completing B.A Graduation with 54.77 percetage.

I have completed 3 year LL.B course in Govt. Law college, Ernakula, under kerala university. Now Ernakulam law college comes under MG University.
though course completed and got hall tickets I didn't write any examinations.Can I write the exam under old or new syllabus?

Actually the LLB course is not offered by the IGNOU. And its not just IGNOU but all the universities in India are not allowed to offer LLB course. The course offered through distance education is actually not LLB.

As per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India, LLB can not be offered through correspondence. You can apply through regular mode only.

The distance education or correspondence degree which is offered is not accepted by the Bar Council of India. Which means that you can not practice as the lawyer with distance education degree.

I will suggest you to instead apply for LLB through regular mode. If required you can complete the course through evening college. It is important that candidate has 80 percent attendance in each semester to pass the LLB course.

The Bar Council of India is very strict regarding these rules. Which is why I will recommend you to apply for the LLB course through regular mode.


Eligibility

1. Bachelor degree in any stream is mandatory.

2. Minimum marks should be 45 percent.

3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks to apply.

4. Age limit is 30 years for LLB course.

5. Five years relaxation for SC/ST.

sir, i am railway employee and i want to know the evening colleges of 3 year LLB course in burdwan ,Calcutta ,wb state universities and other university of west Bengal.

i have not passed 10 2, directly done BBA., through open university, can i join LLB., in calcutta university or bangalore university
