The best post graduate course after Bachelor of Engineering course is Master of Technology. If you want to do M.Tech course from top reputed institutes of India like Indian Institute of Technology or NITs, you will have to appear for an entrance exam called Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam.

1. GATE exam is conducted by IIT or IISC for candidates of B.Tech or M.Sc for admission in M.Tech. It is an online computer based test of 100 marks and consists of 65 questions.

M. Tech specializations for Mechanical Engineers:

1. Mechanical System Design.

2. Computer Aided Design.

3. Combustion and Propulsion.

4. IC Engines and Gas Turbines.

5. Heat Transfer and Thermal Power.
