How to do Ph.D after passing MSc Microbiology


for admission for doing p.hd which type of entrance exams r conducted? how should i prepare for the exam?

Yes you can apply for PhD course after passing M.Sc Microbiology course. You can select PhD in Microbiology or its related specialisation. Here I am giving you information about required eligibility criteria for admission in PHD course offered by Pune university.

- The candidate have to pass a Master Degree program with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent Grade Point Average(GPA) from a recognized university/college.

- 5% relaxation given for reserve category candidates. In order to admission the candidate required to qualify in the entrance examination organized by the respective college administration. You can also appear in the CSIR NET entrance exam to get PhD in Microbiology course.

To crack the entrance exam, you can refer the previous year question paper and various books available in the market.
