VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers which is conducted by TNPSC.

If you have 12th standard OR graduation degree then you are applicable for VAO exam but you age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide as per govt rule But you must know the Tamil language.

I have attached the Question papers of VAO Exam so please check it out.Observe the pattern of these Question papers.

TNPSC VAO exam is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for the post of Village Administrative Officers. This year the number of vacancies is as high as 1870. So they had already published notifications about it. Eligibility Criteria to give this exam are as follows:

~To give this exam the minimum qualification required is SSLC. If you have a SSLC certificate then only you can give this exam. Even higher qualifications will be considered only when you have this certificate to show.

~While giving this examination your age should not be less than 21 years. This rule is binding on all categories. The upper age limit for this examination is 30 years for the general category.

~There is age relaxation for the reserved categories. For SC/ST and other reserved category candidates the upper age limit to give this exam is 40.

~You should be well versed in Tamil language as that is an important criteria undoubtedly.

~You also have to produce medical certificates before them as it is expected that a physically fit candidate is sitting to give the examination.

~It should be remembered that the selection procedure is entirely based on the written examination. So the more marks you can secure, better will be your chances of getting selected.

~The exam paper consists of two sets of questions from the following sections: General Knowledge and General Tamil or General English. You will get the opportunity of writing the general knowledge section in either tamil or english.

~You have to answer three hundered questions in just three hours' time. 150 marks each has been alloted for each section. To qualify the minimum marks which needs to be secured is ninety.
