boys admissions in indian army . how to get admission??

Boys have more opportunities than the girls in the Indian Army.
You can join the Indian Army by applying for NDA,CDS,TES,UES etc.
It depends on your qualifications and age that in which of these you may apply.

For applying for NDA:
Your age should be between 16.5 - 19 yrs.

You should be born between 2nd Jan & 1st Jul for NDA 1 and
2nd Jul & 1st Jan for NDA 2.

You should have passed 12th Class (10+2) system of education or its equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for the airforce and navy.

You should be an unmarried male.

For applying for CDS you should have completed your graduation.

Your age should be between 19 - 21 yrs.

You should have completed your graduation with maths and physics.

Dear Friend,
You have not mentioned about your age and qualification so I can not guide you properly.
There are various way to join army.You can apply for the Army after class 12th,Graduation.

After class 12th you can participate in the NDA examination and join the Army.You can give the examination of CDS as well.

You do not mentatino that for which post you are intarested , but for Indian Army the following eligibity is must:

*As first you have good physical fitness.

*hight minimum 5ft 7" .

*chast with air- 186cm and without air-176cm.

*without glass sight power-6/6.

*1600-1700 metar run within 5minute 45 sec.

After pass these physical exam you will eligible for written.

Indian Army is one of the most respected and reputed organisation of our country.

There are so many ways of getting admission in Indian Army.

Those who have done graduation in any discipline can apply for Indian Military Academy through Combined Defence Services Examination(CDSE) conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Those who have passed 10+2 can apply for National Defence Academy(NDA) which is also conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Engineers(in final year or in pre-final year) can also get admission in Indian Army through University Entry Scheme.

Hello friend,

If you are a graduate, you may join Indian Army through Combined Defense Service Exam, conducted by UPSC. The minimum eligible age is 19 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years.

If you are not a graduate and have qualified +2 level of examination, you may join Indian Army through NDA exam, which is also conducted by UPSC. The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years.

You have mentioned that you are a boy but your age and education qualification is not mentioned. If your age is above 16 1/2 years then you can try for NDA. This is provided that your age is not above 19 years. You will also need to have cleared your 12th standard also for the same. The next notification will be in the month of October.

There is much more opportunity for boys rather than girls to join in army..

You can join in Army through Defense exams like - NDA, CDS, EKT, UES , TES etc..

If you have not pass 12th yet then you can go for NDA..
For that you have to pass the 12th in PCM..
And your age should be in between 19-23years....

if you are doing graduation in general field then you can apply for CDS exam..
For that you have to complete your graduation first..
And your age should be less than 25 years.

If you are doing your graduation in engineering then you can apply for exams like -
EKT, TES..
After completion of your graduation in engineering you can appear in these exam , or you can appear in these exam during the final year of your graduation..
Your age should be less than 25 years..

After doing your post graduate course you can apply for UES exam..
Your age should be less than 28years for this scheme..

So, don't worry my friend you will get lots of chances to join in Indian Army..

How to get admission in Indian Army if I am a boy?

There are several ways to get admission in Indian Army .I am providing you some information about some methods :

Entering Indian Army through NDA/NA Exam

NDA/NA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year with name NDA-I and NDA-II.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA :

• Educational Qualification - Atleast Intermediate or equivalent degree with science stream and maths cumpulsory.
• AGE Criteria - 16.5 to 19 years

Entering Indian Army through CDS Exam

This exam is also conducted by upsc and the eligibility criteria are as follows :

• The candidate must have a graduation degree
• The age of the candidate should be less than 25 years

Entering Indian Army through Direct Recruitment

You can also join indian army directly , just on the basis of Physical fitness .you will have to complete a fixed time running and pass some tests.


There are some other methods also but i have provided you all the common methods .

Admissions To Indian Army

Based on your age and qualification..you can apply for these two exams :-

NDA Exam
CDS Exam


For appearing in the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam..you need to fulfill the following minimum criterion :-

The next NDA exam is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012 for which the forms shall be out on 31st December,2011 and the last date for applying for the exams is 30th January,2012..


For appearing in the CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam..you need to fulfill the following minimum criterion :-

1) You should be a graduate from a recognized University or a final year graduation student..

2) You should be within the age limit in accordance to the Academy you wish to join..

For Naval Academy : 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 years
For Officer's Training Academy : 19-25 years

The written exam shall consist of 3 sections carrying equal weightage of 100 marks each

English
Basic Maths

The CDS exam is conducted twice every year in the months of February and September..

The next CDS exam is going to be conducted on 12th February,2012 but the last date for applying for that exam was 28th November,2011 so you can apply for the CDS 2 exam which will be conducted on 16th September,2012..

the forms for the exam shall be available on 2nd June,2012 and the last date for applying for the exam is 2nd July,2012..
