Generally banks (mostly private) visit premier engineering colleges' campuses for jobs in
finance, investment banking and analyst divisions etc..

One can get such jobs if banks visit for campus placement in his/her college
otherwise it is very difficult with only B.Tech. degree.

The recruitment of B.Tech. holders for such kind of jobs is very rare through
some offcampus recruitment process.

You can get such jobs after MBA, CFA, FRM qualification.
Even level-II of CFA is good enough to get you very good job in banks.

As a graduate you can apply for Bank PO exams of Indian banks.

Apply for the CWE(Common Written Exam) conducted by IBPS(Institute for banking personnel) separately for clerkical and po(probationary officer) cadre.

It is a common entrance exam for 19 national banks.
It doesnot include sbi and its associate banks. A separate exam may be conducted for that.

pattern of the exam:
quantitative aptitude,verbal,reasoning,general awareness.

with ample preparatioon sure you could get a good white collared job in the bank with a good salary.

You are eligible to Bank Probationary Officer position after completing your graduation with 53% of marks.You can apply for IBPS common written exam.IBPS is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks.Here you can apply for all the 19 Banks with only one exam and only one time of payment is enough.If you are qualified in this entrance test, then if any one of the bank announced notification then only call for all the qualified candidates for further Interview procedure,If you qualified in this Interview then you can get this job.

Already you have satisfied Eligibility criteria for IBPS common written test.Normally IBPS is conducting Common Written Exam twice in a year for both PO and Clerical Cadre Positions.You are eligible for both Positions.So as per your Interest you can apply for any position Entrance exam.In January we may have another CWE test for Probationary position.

So you can happily apply for both Positions of IBPS common written exam.

1:you should pass minimum 12th standard (10+2) or equivalent securing 60% marks where as 55% marks for the SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen.

Many of the bank exams have some general sections like:

General Knowledge,

General Aptitude(Logical Reasoning,Analytical ,Insufficient data analysis etc)

To crack those sections according to me:
1:study the daily newspaper.

2:solve more and more problems from various aptitude test books like R.S.Agarwal,Barron's etc.

3:Try to discover more and more new own tricks by which you can easily solve any problem in a less time .

4:You can go for self tests.

5:study your general science subjects Physics,Mathematics properly.

Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) required graduate from any discipline so you can apply for the same and appear for the written exam followed by personal Interview being a B.Tech graduate.

Eligibility for Bank PO exam:-

1.candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career.

3.Candidate must be a computer literate.

4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

5.Age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in Bank PO exam..

As you are pursuing B.tech course.. Then when you will be in final year of B.tech course then you can apply for Bank PO exam..

There are basically a few easy steps for such kind of examination :

1. Preliminary Examination : Time 2 Hours

• Candidates have to appear in objective type examination conducted by
the bank.
•Examination will consist of:

i.Reasoning Ability Test
ii.Quantitative Aptitude

2. Main Test : Time 3 Hours

•This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination
•The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :
