How to get a government and private sector job after completing engineering in E&C?


hi all,
I've completed my engg in E&C in 2011 ,tried for core for 1 year(VLSI and EMBEDD) even done course from CDAC(VLSI) and currently have an offer from software firm job profile is in DEVICE DRIVER development but now I am confused ,I always wanted the most challenging field because i know it will take most of my time and energy but its worth giving that ,now I am thinking of joining IES coaching my age is 25 yrs and i still have 5 more years to do that ,can any 1 advice me which field can be best for me.
