To get a job in the government sector or public sector is not an easy task. To get a government job is a very difficult process, you need to appear for competitive examination to get a government job. After completing Intermediate (12th) examination, aspirants are eligible for various states/central government exams. But for most of the vacancies you need to be a Graduate.

After completing your intermediate examination you are eligible for NDA (National Defense Academy), also apply for LDC (Lower divisional clerk) post, Banks, SSC exams etc.

After graduation you are almost eligible for all the government examinations. For officer posts as well as clerk posts, graduation is the minimum criteria. When you complete your graduation, you are eligible for these government exams:

1. Bank exams: To apply for bank exams you need to be a graduate in any discipline. After graduation you are eligible to apply and registered for IBPS exam. IBPS conducts various exams every year and you can apply only when you complete your graduation. IBPS Conducts exams for Probationary officers (PO), Clerk, Specialist officer (SO) as well as exams for RRB's.

You can also apply for Various defense examinations conducted by UPSC. After graduation you are eligible for all these examinations to get a government job.

There are lots of examination conducted every year to fulfill vacancies as a state as well as central level. You need to prepared smartly to get a government job.
