You can get it from the college office if you study a regular course. In the case of distance mode courses, you need to visit the study center allotted to you for such documents. Usually, colleges provide all the documents to the student after clearance of all dues.

If you haven't cleared all your dues at the college it will become difficult to get the degree from the college. You can also get such documents from the University office in case the college is not cooperating.

To obtain the original degree certificate of M.Phil from Vinayaka Mission's University (VMU) for the year 2009, you will need to follow the process outlined by the university. Here are some general steps you can take:

1. Contact the University: Reach out to the Vinayaka Mission's University administration or the concerned department through their official contact channels. Inquire about the procedure for obtaining the original degree certificate for M.Phil and any specific requirements or documents they may need from you.

2. Application Form: Obtain the application form for the issuance of the degree certificate. This form may be available on the university's official website or can be obtained from the university's administrative office. Fill out the form accurately, providing all the required details.

3. Required Documents: Gather the necessary documents as specified by the university. Typically, you will be asked to provide documents such as your M.Phil completion certificate, mark sheets, identity proof (e.g., Aadhaar card, passport), proof of payment of any required fees, and any other documents specific to VMU's requirements.

4. Fee Payment: Pay the prescribed fee for the issuance of the degree certificate. The fee amount and payment method will be mentioned in the application form or provided by the university. Ensure that you keep a copy of the payment receipt or transaction details for future reference.

5. Submission of Application: Submit the completed application form along with the required documents and the fee payment receipt to the designated office or department at VMU. Follow any instructions provided by the university regarding the submission process, including whether it needs to be done in person or through mail.

6. Verification and Processing: The university will verify the provided information and process your application. This may involve verifying your academic records, completion of requirements, and clearance of any outstanding dues.

7. Collection of Degree Certificate: Once the verification and processing are complete, you will be notified by the university regarding the collection of your original degree certificate. Follow the instructions provided to collect the certificate either in person or through the specified mode of delivery.

It is important to note that the specific process and requirements for obtaining the degree certificate may vary depending on VMU's policies and procedures. Contact VMU directly for accurate and updated information regarding the process to obtain your M.Phil degree certificate from the university.

I think it's unfair that distance learning students have to go to a study center to get their documents. This increases their costs and makes it difficult for them to access education. I think colleges and universities should be more flexible and responsive to student needs
