Hello sir, I have registered for CA CPT for June term of this year and I have received books but not registration number and Identity card. How and when I can get it?

You will get registration number through registration letter sent by ICAI after getting verification of documents. For further information, You can email to ICAI. CA CPT is the entry level test for CA course conducted in the month of June & December every year. If you want to appear CPT June-17, then you should apply before 1st April, 2017.

CA CPT Exam Pattern

Session I (100 Marks, 2 Hours)
- Accounting : 60 Marks
- Mercantile Laws : 40 Marks

Session II (100 Marks, 2 Hours)
- General Economics : 50 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude : 50 Marks

Application Procedure
- Visit the official site of ICAI.
- Go to link "New User".
- Register online yourself.
- Log In & Fill the application form.
- Pay the registration fees through DD or Online.
- Print the application form.
- Affix photograph and Sign the application.
- Send application along with required documents to ICAI.
- After getting verification of documents, You will get registration number.

After clearing CA CPT, You can enroll for IPCC course. Candidates who have passed graduation are exempted from CA CPT, but they are required to undergo 9 months Articleship training before applying to IPCC course.
