Dear Friend

You can join Indian Army through Combined Defence Services Examination.
The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC.
You can choose any one wing of the four wings of CDS at the time of applying for the exam.
The four wings are;
1) Army - Indian Military Academy
2) Navy - Naval Academy
3) Air Force - Air Force Academy
4) Officers - Officers’ Training Academy

The age limit for Army wing is 19-24 years.
One should have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

CDS examination is conducted twice a year.
You can obtain the schedule of upcoming CDS examination at the UPSC's
official website.

The examination will contain only objective type questions from following topics.
1. English - 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge - 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics - 100 Marks

in order to join the indian army..u can belong from any stream..u can give the exams of IMA or NDA and clear them to get selected to serve ur nation..
ur body should be physically fit enough and ur eye sight should be perfect..

After few months I will complete my graduation (B.A Geography Hons). In context of it what should be the first step for join armed forces.??
