You can join NDA for joining Indian navy... by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is conducted twice a year....

Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

Age : 16 ½ to 19 years

This is applicable only to men.

else you can complete your graduation and then you can apply for Indian navy with cds, ssb exam whose notification also come in employment newspapers..

CRITERRIA:-

1)Age – The applicant should be of the age between 17-21 years (ie. he should not be less than 17 or more than 21 years on the date of enrolment).

NOTE: Relaxation of age – Against sports quota entry, the upper age relaxation for oustanding sportsmen, who have played at International / National / State level may be considered upto a period of 12 months.

Nationality – Applicant should be a resident Indian. The Gorkhas, subjects of Nepal, are also eligible for applying for SSR recruitment.

Marital Status – Applicant should be an Unmarried male.

2)1st condition – Applicant should have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) with Science stream with compulsory subjects of Physics and Mathematics and Optional subjects of Chemistry or Biology or Computers

3)Physical traits include minimum height of 157 cm with proportionate body weight depending on the age and height of the candidate. He should also have proportionate chest with minimum expansion capability of 05 cms.

Well there after 12th there are only two way by which you can join navy .One is NDA and another one is TES.

NDA ::

you should be between 161/2 to 19 years .
you must have cleared your 12th class with PCM as subjects .

TES::

This is technical entry scheme or direct entry .For this you do not have to take any
exam if you gets marks more then 70% in PCM only then you can fill the form in given
format as published in the weekly employment newspaper.

You must have passed 10+2 examination with PCM as subjects and 70% in PCM.
You should be between 161/2 to 191/2 years.

Union Public Service Commission conduct the examination for Air force Army and Navy.You can join indian navy with 66% marks.

Eligibility:- Candidates having 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School
Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted
by a State Education Board or a University.

Age:- Only unmarried male person whose age 16.5 to 19 can apply for
Indian Navy.

Physical eligibility:- Candidates must be physically fit according to physical
standards for admission to National Defence Academy.

To join Indian Navy you need to appear in the NDA exam which is
conducted by UPSC in every year. NDA exam is conducted twice in
a year once in April and other in August.

In this year NDA-2 exam will be held on 21th August 2011. The
eligibility criteria for NDA exam is given below.

Educational Qualification :-

The minimum educational qualification for appear in the NDA exam
is pass 12th class with physics and mathematics. The 12th appear
student are also eligible for this exam.

Age Limit :-

The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appear
in the examination.

Now if you satisfy the above age criteria then you are eligible for
appear in the NDA exam.
