Hey friend,
To join in Indian Army after 10th is not possible as you don't satisfy the education qualification needed for writing the entrance exam for joining in Indian Army. You need to write the entrance exam for joining in Indian Army. There are many exams which are conducted in India for joining in Indian Army. According to those the mimimum qualification needed by the candidate in order to apply for the entrance exam for joining in Indian Army is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education. You can write the entrance exam like NDA and TES exam for joining in Indian Army NDA stands for National Defence Academy TES stands for Technical Entry Scheme There are eligibility criteria's framed for these exams as like other exams, and you need to satisfy them in order to be eligible to apply for the exams. Regarding the NDA Exam the qualification which you need in order to apply for the NDA Exam are as follows: -> The candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India -> The Martial Status for the exam states that the candidate need to be a unmarried male candidate -> The age limit for the NDA Exam specifies the candidate should have 16 1/2-19 years -> Education qualification for the NDA Exam is the candidate appearing should have completed +2 with a fair percentage to join in Indian Army -> There are certain physical standard framed for the exam which the candidate need to possess in order to apply for the NDA Exam. For applying for TES Exam the qualifications needed are: -> The candidate need to be a citizen of India -> Candidate should have a age limit between 16 1/2-19 1/2 years -> Education qualification for the TES Exam is that the candidate should have completed +2 from a recognized school board with PCM as subjects. If at all you satisfy all the above criteria's for the respected exam, you cannot apply for that exam.If you tend to satisfy the criteria's then you can apply for that exam. ALL THE BEST |

You are not eligible to join the defense field after 10th. First of all you have to complete 12th standard. If you want to join Indian Navy then you should opt for both Physics and Maths in 12th standard. For joining Army you can specialise in any area of interest. After 12th you can appear for the NDA exam.

Quote:
If you are willing to join these defense forces just after your matriculation, you can certainly do that provided, you fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below: For Indian Army: In order to join Indian Army after matriculation, you must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the secondary examination and atleast 32% in each of the subjects. The minimum eligible age is 17 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 21 years. For Indian Navy: For Indian Navy, there is no percentage criteria for candidates willing to join just after qualifying secondary level of examination. However, the age limit to join Indian Navy through matric recruit mode is 17 years to 21 years. For a better career in Defense Forces, we would suggest you to apply after qualifying higher secondary level of examination. After qualifying higher secondary level of examination, you will be eligible to apply for the Army wing as well as Naval wing of National Defense Academy provided you have studied Physics and Mathematics in the higher secondary level and be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years to 19 years. Candidates are selected for National Defense Academy after qualifying an entrance examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. For further information, you may refer to the official website of the Indian Army as well as Indian Navy. |
