-- How many engineering colleges or universities in Chennai offer admission to colleges through AIEEE rank.
-- If so please tell the names of all the colleges.

As of December 2012 there were total of 570 engineering colleges in Chennai.
520 Colleges are affiliated to Anna University,

Admission Procedure :

You need to appear for any of the Engineering Entrance Examination to get admission in any of these colleges.

The entrance exam might be of State Level or Country wide.

Some of the engineering Entrance Examinations include TAMILNADU PROFESSIONAL COURSES ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (TNPCEE), Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), etc,.

Eligibility Criteria for Entrance Exams :

You should have completed the 12th standard or higher secondary education.

You should be a Citizen of the country

You should be at least 18 years old or above.

The maximum age should not exceed 23 years on the date of the exam .

i did nt attend for any of the entrance exams in tamilnadu except jee mains and eamcet can i get a seat in any of the above colleges
