IITies are one of the prestigious college in India and world .to get into admission you

have to give IIT JEE exam held every year in a month of may .

reservation for SC\ST students:

15% and 7.5% seats in each course are reserved for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories, respectively.

15% reservatoin for SC students i.e., approximately 63000.

According to IIT JEE 2010,SC students who scored around 90 marks were selected for the preparatory course according to their ranks.the general category cut off was around 180 marks.

IIT Preparatory Course !!!

Around 30 to 40 students from the non Qualified candidates list in the Rankin order of JEE are taken.

One Year preparatory course is Given to improve their Intake in the B.Tech & Dual Degree courses.

Even Physically Disable (PD) candidates are also allowed to undergo This course.

On Completion of This One year Course Dual or B.Tech program is assigned according to the vacancies of that year Quota for SC/ST/PD.

The Total no of students selected for iit preparatory course are 30 which is know as "super 30".All the candidate selected after successful clearance of entrance test and their financial condition which is conducted by the founder of super 30 concept Mr.Anand kumar of Ramanujam school of Mathematics,Patna.where He takes thirty intelligent students from economically backward sections, tutors them, and provides study materials and lodging for a year.

For SC candidates 15% seats are reserved in each programme in all the IITs. Candidates belonging to these categories are qualified on the basis of a relaxed criterion

7.5% seats for st

27% seats for obc
