How many seats are availkable for M,tech biotech in iit mumbai?

IIT-Mumbai offers the course M.Tech (Biotechnology) and it is the specialization of bio-sciences and bioengineering. There are total 30 seats in this specialization in IIT-Mumbai. IIT-Mumbai offers M.Tech admission based on GATE score and performance in Interview. For M.Tech admission to IIT-Mumbai, GATE qualified candidates should register for GATE GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).

Eligibility
You must have passed B.E/B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% marks or CGPA minimum 6.0 on 0-10 scale. Candidates qualified B.Tech degree from any IIT with CGPA 8.0 and above are exempted from GATE score.

GATE Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions : 65
- Total Marks : 100
- Exam Duration : 3 Hours
- 85% questions will be asked from the subject of paper and remain 15% questions will be asked from general aptitude.

GATE GOAPS Registration Process
- Visit the official website : www.iitb.ac.in
- Click "Register Here".
- Fill the registration details and click on "Submit" button.
- Login and Fill the Exam Details, Personal Details and Qualification Details etc. In application form.
- Upload scanned documents in specified size and format.
- Click on "Save and View Application".
- Verify the filled details. If correct, then submit and proceed to payment.
- Choose mode of payment and Make a payment.
- Download the application and Print it for future reference.

GATE 2019 Application Important Dates
- Starting of GATE Registration : 31st August, 2018
- Last Date of GATE Registration : 23rd September, 2018
- Availability of GATE Admit Card : 4th January, 2019
- GATE Exam Date : 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February, 2019
- GATE Result Date : 16th March, 2019
