Re: How many times can I one attempt the Bank POS exam?
There no limits mentioned in the number of attempts a candidate can take. However there is an age limit to appear for these tests. Like for the public sector banks the limit is 30 years. For the private sector banks it is normally 25 years. The notification from the banks will have information regarding the eligibility criteria for that test.

Re: How many times can I one attempt the Bank POS exam?
friend,
The number of attempts criteria is not there in every bank but SBI (state bank of india) has introduced this new concept of number of attempts by seeing the trend as other entrance exams like IAS are having. This concept will get started from the year 2011-2012.So the number of attempts for the recruitment of 1000 probationary officers for the year 2011 are as follows: FOR GENERAL CATEGORY -> 4 attempts FOR GENERAL CATEGORY(PWD)->4 attempts FOR OBC CATEGORY-> 7 attempts FOR OBC CATEGORY(PWD)-> 7 attempts FOR SC/SC(PWD)/ST/ST(PWD)-> no limit. |

Re: How many times can I one attempt the Bank POS exam?
Bank POs (probationary officers) are in hot demand in these days. The number of candidates who are applying for these jobs are going on increasing.
The selection procedure for these positions will be Written Exam Interview Some banks will also conduct Group Discussion as a part of selection procedure. In the case of private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own written exam for the recruitment of these positions. But in public sector, IBPS is conducting common written exam on behalf of all the public sector banks. SBI and SBI Associate banks have not joined hands with IBPS. As per your query, there is no limit on the number of attempts for the candidates of any category for many of the bank exams. They can take the exam as long as they fulfill the required age criteria. However there is limit on number of attempts for SBI PO Exam which will be -Maximum of 4 attempts for General category -Maximum of 7 attempts for OBC category -No limit for SC or ST category. You did not mention your academic qualification. In order to apply for Bank PO positions, you should have completed your Graduation with a minimum of 60% of marks. Wish you all the best. |
