Diploma holder students have an opportunities to take a lateral entry in 2nd year in B.Tech directly. And as you give your details that your family income is only Rs 11000 then the solution for the engineering fee is that you can take an educational loan for this.

Job opportunities depend upon skill and merit not on age. If your performance is good in B.Tech and secured good aggregate in total semester and clear your interview very well then you can secure your job.

The fee structure varies from college to college. However, generally it costs around 8 lacs in Indian Institute of Technology. In other government engineering colleges other than IITs, it is less and around 3-4 lacs. Private engineering colleges have higher fee structure and costing more than 10 lakhs like in SRM, BITS, VIT, KIIT etc. Some private engineering colleges have fee structure around 4-5 lacs.

You need not worry about fees of engineering because you can easily get education loan from any bank for pursuing bachelor's degree in engineering. Upto 4.5 lacs of loan, bank do not ask either for guarantor or collateral.

Yes, job opportunities depend upon merit not on status or age. If you are talented and have merit then none is going to stop from getting job.

Your annual fee will be approximately 80,000 rupees in most of the private institutes. As your family income is not enough to fulfill the fee requirement to continue your study, so my suggestion to you is that you shall apply for education loan to continue your study. You shall study with full dedications and try to understand the things practically also. Do summer training from well reputed companies. This will helps you a lot during interview. You will have so many job opportunities after completion of your course. Job is also a factor in getting job in government companies. So, don't waste your time in thinking useless things. You can apply for job in BEL, SAIL, NTPC, various paper industries, plastic industries, automobile industries etc.

The fee structure of engineering colleges approximately are as below:

IIT: 8 lacs.

Government engineering colleges: 2-3 lacs.

Private engineering colleges: 4-10 lacs.

Jobs are given on basis of merit and talent not on basis of age and status.

As you are in 2nd year of your Diploma, so in 3rd year or final year of your Diploma course, you can directly take admission into B.Tech/B.E. course through lateral entry exam.

This lateral entry exam will contain questions pertaining to your syllabus that you have studied earlier in your Diploma course.

The cost of studying in Engineering colleges is roughly around 1 lakh per annum in most of the colleges.

You can also pay the payment in installments according to your convenience.

There are many states in which there is a scholarship program for the candidates who are applying for higher education.

Hence, you can get a scholarship if you apply for it by applying Income Certificate.

After completing diploma there are many options some of them are BE and Btech.

The fee structure varies according to the place and college you choose. In most of the colleges the fee structure will be around 45k - 75k per semester. If you have low income you can apply for the scholarship which is provided by government. After joining in the college you need to apply for the scholarship and government will also give the incentives that will be depend on the place.

For job there will not consider any age. It depends on the merit and college, if your college has nice placements then you'll surely get a job otherwise after completing BE or Btech there will be number of placement opportunity for freshers. If have a good score in BE or Btech you can easily get a job.
