CGL exam is conducted by SSC.
This examination is conducted for recruitment of various positions like Inspector of Income Tax/ Central Excise / Prevention Officer / Examiner / Assistant Enforcement Officer / Divisional Account / Sub- Inspector / Junior Account / Sub inspector in CBI / Statistical Investigator Gr.II. Minimum qualification required to apply for SSC CGL examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution. Doesn't require any kind percentage marks in graduation degree to apply for SSC CGL exam. Age criteria:- 1. Sub Inspectors in CPOs – 20 years to 25 years 2. Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI – 20 years to 27 years 3. Statistical Investigators – Maximum 26 years 4. For all other posts – 18 years to 27 years. Upper age relaxation for OBC is upto 3 years.
