Re: How much percentage is required in IAS exam?
Dear friend,
In the upsc notification which is published in the employment newspaper there is no mention of the minimum percentage one should obtain to become an IAS officer. It is mentioned that you should get a degree from an recognized university thats it.the following is the clause: the candidate must hold a degree of any of universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures of india or declared to be deemed as university under section 3 of the UGC act 1956. so it is okay if you dont have very high percentage.you are still eligible to appear in the exam and you can very well crack the exam as well. so prepare with dedication and hardwork all the best |
