How much rank should i get in kerala engg entrance exam to get admission in mechanical gngg in govt engg college thrissure?

In Kerala, Engineering admission will be availed based on merit rank which is prepared on the basis of score obtained in qualifying exam plus entrance exam KEAM/JEE Main. If you want to get admission in mechanical engineering branch in government engineering college of thrissur, then you should stand within rank of 2500 belong to general category. If you belong to SC/ST, then you can get admission with the rank within 4500. Government Engineering College Thrissur is affiliated to University of Calicut and AICTE approved.

Eligibility For Kerala Engineering
- You must have passed (10+2) or equivalent exam with 50% marks in Maths individually and 50% marks aggregate in Physics and Chemistry subjects.
- You are required to appear entrance exam KEAM/JEE Main.
- Your age should be at least 17 years as on 31st December of the examination year. No upper age limit.

KEAM Entrance Exam Pattern
- Numbers of Questions : 240
- Total Marks : 960
- Four marks will be allotted for each right answer.
- One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

* Maths : 120 Q × 4 : 480 Marks (2.5 Hours)
* Physics & Chemistry : 120 Q × 4 : 480 Marks (2.5 Hours)

- Starting of Online Application : 1st Jan, 2017
- Last Date to Submit Application : 9th Mar, 2017
- Release Admit Card : 12th Apr, 2017
- KEAM Entrance : 24th Apr, 2017
- Result Announcement : May, 2017
