Hi, l got 58% in Higher Secondary Board exams. Is this score enough to apply and write the NEET examination? What is the standard minimum score required for NEET? And, when is the upcoming NEET going to be conducted?

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA for admission in medical courses.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th recognised board in PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

The minimum age limit is 17 years and no upper age limit.

The examination is scheduled to be conducted in September 2020.

>>The minimum education required to apply for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCB group combination from a recognised board of education. Marks relaxation upto 10% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.

So, if your aggregate marks in PCB group subject is at least 50% (or 40% in case you belong to reserved category) then you are eligible to apply for the NEET examination otherwise not.

For complete details regarding the NEET eligibility, you can visit the official website ot NEET i.e;www.ntaneet.nic.in.

Yes,58% is enough to write NEET exam. Candidates who have passed or are appearing in class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics,Chemistry,Biology/Biotechnology and English as main subjects from a recognised institution. Minimum qualifying marks required by General category candidates are 50%. as per the previous year result, the unreserved category had to secure NEET pass mark range of 701-134 while the candidates belong to the reserved category had to secure 133-107 marks. Every year NEET exam will be conducted almost in May.
