Hi,
All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Exam (AIEEE) is conducted once a year by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to select the brilliant students for Engineering and Architecture courses such as, B. E. / B. Tech and B. Arch / B. Planning available in various NITs and other colleges.
You can well prepare for AIEEE without going to coaching classes. Some of the useful points are given below.
1. Set your daily Time Limit for Self Study.
2. Cover the entire syllabus, giving special focus on Important Topics such as Electrodynamics, Optics, Algebra, Basic Organic Chemistry.
3. Put equal weightage on each of three subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
4. Read NCERT books before going to High Level Books to clarify your

Basic Concepts.
5. Solve more and more previous year question papers.
6. Revise those topics more in which you feel comfortable.

Well AIEEE is no rocket science so need not worry.

Infact maximum students who appear in the top 100 do not go for any coaching.

The mantra is simple:

Smart Work

Dedication

Concentration

So if you study with all the above things in mind, then im sure you will get through.

Select the most important and scoring topics from the syllabus.

Get on with those topics where you think you can score good and fast.

AIEEE is all about time management and score.

There are many questions and it is not possible to attempt all.

So select a few topics which you think you can handle and practice those pretty well.

In this way, you can answers these question fast and score and save time. Also, you

can seek advice from your teachers who can guide you through.

It will be a good idea to solve sample papers and previous years papers as well as to get

an idea of what to expect in the exam and how to manage your time.

At first you should read your text book very sincerely. Then you can prepare yourself for AIEEE by doing most popular books like Dinesh(Math, Physics,Chemistry), Arihant,Pradip etc. But my opinion is that Dinesh will be best.

to prepare for AIEEE fat home
first and foremost thing you have to do is to be thorough with all th NCERT syllabus from a good book like R D Sharma for maths and comprehensive for Physics and Pradeep's for chemistry.
secondly go for books which have multiple choice questions and practise those questions and learn time management
thirdly you can also take help from websites like these http://www.askiitians.com/aieee/AIEEE-Past-Papers

AIEEE is a standard engineering entrance exam and is considered second after IIT-JEE in india .This exam is conducted by CBSE and after getting good rank in this exam ,you can get colleges like NITs which are considered very good.

Today Coaching are the best way to crack these exam and most of the student prefer to join coaching after completing class 10 or even 12th. But don't worry if you don't want to join any coaching .There is still a chance for you but boldly saying ,you will have to work very hard to achieve your goal.

Just follow the below given steps to crack this exam :
(1)Stick to the basics of class 11th and 12th.
(2)Try to understand the things rather than memorizing it.It would be best if you can gain the concept .
(3)Complete first of all NCERT books of class 11th and 12th as it is the best book for cracking this exam as suggested by the experts.
(4)Look at previous year question papers and prepare accordingly.
(5)Bring some books in which short cut tricks are given because you will face the problem of time management there .

(6)The last but not the least practice your read topics regularly as practice makes a person perfect.

Expert tips to prepare for exams like AIEEE::

Final exam time can often be stressful and nerve wracking. While some stress can actually be a positive motivator, being too nervous or tense can be problematic, especially if it interferes with your test taking performance. With less than two weeks left in the semester, it’s time to focus on what you can do to get yourself through this demanding time.

Here’s some advice to help make the end-of-the-semester experience less stressful. These tips are offered by Dolores Cimini, PhD, director of Middle Earth, UAlbany’s Peer Counseling service.

Deal with your anxiety:
Try to determine the source of your test anxiety. If it stems from a lack of preparation on your part, your anxiety is considered a rational response. However, if you believe that you are prepared for the test, but are still panicking or overreacting, this may be an irrational response. Either way, it can be very helpful to know how to work with their effects.

Prepare for those tests and assignments:
This is the best way to minimize anxiety. Here are a few tips for preparing for an exam:

• Avoid cramming for a test. Cramming can produce high levels of anxiety and is not helpful in trying to learn a large amount of material.

• Instead of trying to memorize all of the intricate details from an entire semester’s worth of notes and readings, try combining everything and learning the larger, main concepts first.

• When studying, try to create questions that could possibly be asked on the test. Try integrating ideas from lectures, notes, books and other readings.

• If it is impossible for you to cover all of the material for the test, choose one portion that you know you will be able to cover and present well.

Change your attitude:
It can help to change the way you think about taking tests. A test will not predict your future success or determine your self worth. Changing your attitude can actually help you enjoy studying and learning. Here are some ways you can work on changing your attitude:

• Remind yourself that it is only a test and there will be others.

• Reward yourself when the test is over.

• Think of yourself in a positive way. Think of all the hard work you have done already or think of what you do know.

• Plan ways to improve next semester

Don’t forget the basics:
Don’t forget about yourself and what you need. This means thinking of yourself as a total person, not just as a test taker.

• Maintain proper nutrition and exercise, and continue some of your social or recreational activities. It is ok to take a break once in a while.

• Make sure you get plenty of sleep. You can’t function at your best if you are tired.

• Do something relaxing when you feel adequately prepared.

Again, try to do something relaxing before the test. Cramming minutes before can produce anxiety. Get to the test early. This way, you can pick out your seat away from anxiety-ridden classmates and other distractions. Now, you’re ready to take the test…Good luck!

Hello,
You can prepare for AIEEE without taking any coaching or extra classes.
You can practice more as much as you can. Solve many multiple questions which are asked in AIEEE. Purchase a question bank individual for each subjects physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Make a daily routine for study. Give equal priority to the all subjects. so that you can answer each subjects equally.
However you can follow some of foreign anthers books for Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.
Physics: I.E.Irodove
Chemistry: G.N. Sten
Mathematics: Resnick and Bond.

These are highly rated books and very tough to solve. If you solve these books then you can surely crack AIEEE.
Good luck!!!

Hi dear,
it not the necessary evil that you must join any coaching institute for the preparation of AIEEE rather it is more useful if you study a bit harder by yourself. here are the some key points which you can try yourself and i guaranteed that your selection will be sure..
1- first of all make notes of all the chapters of th important points of NCERT books wether it is physics , chemistry or mathemetics.
2- give equal time to all the three subjects all day.
3- try to solve the problems of EXERCISE of ncert by yourself and learn the basic concept behind each question.
4- try to solve as much as objctive question of bokks such as arihant or dinesh.

all the best
thanks
