Quote:
It is compulsory to write the examination, otherwise your candidature will be canceled and there is no other way to get a job in banks other than writing the exams. Quote:
The best way to prepare for the exam is to buy one or two books from the market, the name for which is given below, and start practicing. The more you practice the more you will be able to complete the paper in that limited time which is very short to solve all the questions. So practice is everything to prepare for bank's exam. The books which you can follow to prepare are given below: Upkar`s SBI PO Examination (Solved Papers) Ramesh`s Bank PO. Previous year Solved Papers Test of Reasoning/Reasoning Ability by R.S.Agarwal (Verbal & Non-verbal) Quantitative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwal Guides by Kiran publications. all the best. |

In case you want to get a government bank job then you need to take the common entrance test that will be held in september this year
All the nationalized banks will recruit PO directly from these tests In case of private banks you can forward your resume to HR Manager and in case a vacancy is there they will call you for an interview with them |

Re: How to prepare for bank entrance exam? Is it compulsory to write the exam to get a job in the Bank?
Dear Sneha,
Yes, it is compulsory to write the examination to get a job in the bank. We have always found that as a student and an aspirant for banking services, it is always difficult to start preparation of the bank exams, be it for the clerical cadre or for the specialist officers and the probationary officers in different banks. At the same time it is also difficult for any aspirant preparing for these exams to get the right information and guidance on how to start their preparations. Preparation of bank examinations are prescribed as below:- * Strength:- Write down all your strengths. It can be technical as well as behavioural. On technical front check out in which subjects you are strong. * Weakness:- Weakness should be thought over (in the context of exam) and their impact on the overall preparation of the exam should be kept in mind. Then we need to work them out and try to minimize their impact on our preparation. * Check out the material available to you to prepare for the exams: Here one need to make an extra effort to avoid reading those things which are in no way going to help you in your preparation for the banking exams. It may be possible that you may be studying or being taught something which is no longer asked in the exams. Therefore it becomes necessary to know that what you have got in terms of guidance and reading material is right. One thing that we definitely make sure is that what we are providing is as per the latest trend. * Last but not the least, devote time, have patience, have faith in you and don’t give up. It is found that maximum number of people gives up when they are on the verge of success. Taste the success and the world will be yours. |
