you should prepare to improve your aptitude,
prepare from good books like r.s.agrawal

you can join times classes or any other good coaching classes for preparing for cat,xat,and other management exams.......you should also improve your vocabulary and should attend mock tests for checking the level of preparation you have done......

U can go to some coaching institutes like TIME careerlauncher IMs or if u wish to study at home the nu can refer RS agrawal but beofre thana u should have ur concepts clear about math which is of school level and english can be improved by ur reading habits

first you should go for best coaching centers.......you should learn to solve the puzzles,verbal and non verbal questions,reasoning problems and your subject.......and practice well.

if you want to join a reputed college like IIM's,or IIFT or FMS or XLRI then you have to follow some basic things like:

1)join a good coaching institute.

2)be regular in studies and classes

3)give more and more mock tests

4)try to practice lots of quant questions.

5)read lots of newspapers to increase your vocabulary.

practice is the only success manthra for clearing mba exams like cat,xat etc,
practice as much as you can.\read the best books like time material and r.s.agrawal and give test regularly

if you want to be in a good college than go for CAT exam which is conducted ones in a year in December. if you passed this exam than you will be getting admission in IIM or XLRI or any other recognized college in india and after placement you will be getting a salary or more than 1 lakh p.m.

you can crack any MBA exams just by following these simple steps:

for solving quant questions--you have to do a lots of practice,try to do calculations mentally which will increase your solving speed and hence give you an edge.

for english---try to learn as many as new words by reading books,newspapers,magazines etc.

for DI--do lots of practice on the study materials given by the coaching institute.

Today management has become one of the most preferable and likeable option for student for leading there career in a right path.

for getting good college in mba,it is necessary to get good percentile in the mat exam.
for this you should prepare well for the mba test,
you should have very good commond on aptitude .

if you can afford then join a good coaching like career launcher,TIMES,IMS.
and if you cant, then you have to plan your studies pre-emptively.
I have friends who are in IIM and IAS without any classroom coaching. so buy the books which help you clarify the concepts and practice papers of various good coaching institutes.

the best colleges are iims in india nad if you have to take admission in that you will have to give cat exam which is very difficult so you will have to work ahrd

good management colleges you must be talking for IIM's. if you want to crack CAT then you have to work very hard,its good for you if you join any coaching institute for it and solve as many papers you can solve. make a time table for it and allot time for every subject accordingly....

Algebra – Quadratic equations, functions, Menstruations etc.
Geometry – Triangles, circles, co-ordinate geometry etc.
Other topics of maths like set theory, permutation & combination, binomial equation, complex number etc.
2. Data Interpretation – it is based on graphs & tables. There are different types of graphs like line graph, pie chart, bar graphs etc. You must have a firm knowledge of all this.
3. Reasoning – Like critical reasoning, visual reasoning, assertion & reasons, statements & assumptions, identifying strong arguments, statements & conclusions, cause & effect etc. You should be able to solve the problem easily. So you should have a good knowledge of all this so that question is solved in less time as time matters a lot in CAT exam.

For getting admission into India's top B School i.e. IIMs you need to crack CAT which is considered as one of the toughest exam in India. You can also apply for other management entrance exam like XAT, MAT, SNAP, UPCAT, CET etc.

For clearing these exams you need to work hard . Remember hard work, determination & right strategy are key to success in any exam. If you have confidence in yourself you can buy books from the market & do self study.

as far as marks are concerned it depends on the merit it may go high sometimes and low other times but generally in bank po selection you need to have scored more than 65% to get success as below it its useless
