My self Premjit. Now i am studying B.A final year and i want to know about how to get in OPS and how to prepare for OPS?
Which books we have to follow and what are the syllabus. Please help me out sir.

Preliminary Examination : has two main papers

Paper I : General Studies

Paper II : Optional paper from any one of the following paper
Agricultural engineering, Anthropology, civil, botany, chemistry, economics, physics, sociology, history, Geology, law, Physiology, Home Science, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Forestry, Geography, Management, Statistics, Fishery Sciences

Main Examination : has the following 9 papers

Paper I : Oriya Language : 300 marks

Paper II : English : 300 marks

Paper III : English Essay : 200 marks

Paper IV : General Studies I : 300 marks

Paper V : General Studies II : 300 marks

Paper VI, VII, VIII & IX will be based on the optional subjects

There will be 2 stages
1. Prelims
2. Mains

Syllabus for prelims:
It is an objective test of 100 marks duration is 90 mins.
- General science
- Current affairs
- History of India and Odisha
- English
- Aptitude
- Reasoning
- Problem solving

Syllabus for mains:
It has 4 papers (2 papers are descriptive (50marks each paper & duration 90 mins each), 1 paper is objective (200 marks & duration 3 hours) and another paper is only of station officers (200 marks & duration 3 hours)).
- General English
- Odia language
- General studies
- Technical papers
