How to prepare for TCS and Infosys exam?

in both tcs and infy the apti round will b toughy 1ly. so u must prepare very well for the apti round.

go through previous papers and practice them

use r.s.agarwal apti book, GRE book and sakunthala devi puzzle book

mostly questions will b from these books only

The recruitment for both the company are carried out by three phases as Aptitude and Reasoning , Group Discussion, and HR interview. So you have to prepare for all these three phases.
*For Aptitude & Reasoning test you must have good problem solving skill. You can follow R.S.Aggarwal's book for Quantitative apptitude and verbal, non-verbal. you can also solve the Shakuntala Devi's Puzzle book for better preparation.
*For GD you have to touch with current affairs and daily news. So that you can have the knowledge about on going things.
*For HR interview you must have good technical knowledge which you have studied in B.Tech or equivalent.
You must have good communication skill for Hr and personal interviews.

TCS is the TATA Consultancy Services. It is a Multi National Company which is spread all over the world.

In India, we all know who TATA is and what Brand it stands. So TCS is a TATA Enterprise and also one of the largest recruiters of Engineers and Graduates in our country.


Infosys is again a very Big name. Its one of the most successful companies in India. It gives immense exposure to its employees and also recruits fresh graduates from various colleges.


So to get recruited in any of these companies, one has to fulfill certain Eligibility Criteria's as in :-


1. You should be a minimum graduate in any Science stream (Preferably Engineering) to be able to apply for these companies.

2. Your CGPA must be over 6 or equivalent percentage to be eligible to sit for their placement drives.

3. Third year students are not allowed to apply anymore, but the final year i.e 4th year students can well apply for it.

4. These companies visit many campuses all across India, and so they lay some relaxations also like all those who have a first class career in academics are eligible to apply directly for the Interview.

Now coming to your query about the preparations part, I am uploading a few previous year papers, and past years papers so that you can download and practice from them.

Apart from this, third year is the ideal time to start preparing for the placements. Hence I would recommend you to buy R.S. Aggarwal Book for the Quantitative Aptitude as well as the Logical and Verbal Reasoning and then practice day night from that book.

It would lead to better results. Please remember that Aptitude can be mastered by ONLY PRACTICE.

For T.C.S. and INFOSYS there are mainly three section which are given below :

1. Aptitude Test,
2. Technical Interview,
3. Personal Interview/HR.

To recover this three section you have to study the following books very well :

* Quantative Aptitude Test by R.S.Agarwall,
* Verbal Reasoning Series by R.S.Agarwall,
* G.R.E. by Barron.


Besides this you have to prepare from current affairs.

There is no special preparation required in this exam the common thing will be asked which are asked on other exams. So if you have given the written exam for another company then you had the idea otherwise you can prepare from your 12th class books or buy a book from the market and understand the basic concept of every topic.

There will be an online exam..test consists of 3 sections.

1.Test on synonyms and antonyms(40 question,20 minutes).

2.Aptitude test (32 questions.40 minutes).

3.critical reasoning (30 minutes:3 analysis paragraphs and 12 questions realting them).

After clearing online round test next round will be Interview.

1.Technical Round.

2.management round.

3.HR round.

Technical round consists of some questions just to judge your technical skills.This round id to mark your technical solutions of the subjects that you have studeid in the engineering..

MR.

This round is to check your management skills.level of the questions depends upon how you performed in technical round.


HR

This is the final round of interview if you clear this then you will be confirmed for the job there will be basic skills and question about your personality.

You can prepare well to the Question papers and practice more for Aptitude round.Then you must clear the paper of TCS and Infosys.

TCS-TCS want 60% marks in through our career.

INFOSYS-INFOSYS want 65% marks in through our career.

Pending Backlog candidate are not applicable.Just one year career gap candidate are applicable.

Hello; sir i got 74 & 75 percentage in 10th & 12th respectively. I have done my b.tech with 66 per aggr but i got a single backlog in b.tech & i have applied for RTI..m waiting result..can i apply for tcs and infosis and other psu exams...
