CSIR UGC NET exam is carried out for selecting candidates to lectureship / JRF. Master degree holders in any stream with a minimum of 55% marks can apply. There will be three papers for UGC NET exam. First paper covers questions on teaching and research aptitude. Paper I & II are based on subject related topics. PG holders in science subjects needs to attend CSIR UGC NET exam. There is only one paper for the test divided in to three parts. Part A include general aptitude questions where as other sections are subject specific.
