how to prepare for CAT........presently i m 8th sem b.e of electronic branch...

the best way is join a good coaching classs because over there they give you specific study material which are most probably according to the CAT syllabus and most of their sample papers even hit in the exams so its better to take a guided approach to crack CAT and emerge with flying colors.. hope you do as i say and success will be yours.. bbye take care good luck..

well you should take coaching in institute like TIME,
you can also do self preperation and concentrate on quant and verbal really hard

start practicing aptitude,reasoning and mathematical problems
improve your english
join coaching institute like time in your last year.

TIPS TO INCREASE COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN SKILLS

-> You must be well versed in basic grammar to have a proper communication in English which you have studied in your schooling. I have attached 2 e-books on basic english grammar in this post.. kindly check it over..

-> Start conversing in English, this plays a huge role in developing your english language, if you feel who are speaking wrong then don't worry, just try to change the mistakes in the next time. When you start conversing in English you can really see the improvement in your communication.

In my opinon you should join any private coaching classes like TIME, IMS etc. where you can learn a lot of things regarding CAT exam.

Yes you can apply for CAt, but CAT is the very tough exam, but dont worry if you are a genius man then there is nothing impossible, but you should take coaching for CAT from a best coaching center, you should improve your English, aptitude, general knowledge, so prepare yourself.

Is it wise to join classes exactly 2 years before since u have got time to study???that is if a person is pursuing second year B.TECH??

what should him do if a b.tech student wants to crack CAT when he can not join the coaching due to being his institute at a long distance?
