i have pass B.A how to make IPS officer...could u please tell me the details

IPS - Indian Police Service, to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness.

Apart from this the aspiring candidate for IPS should maintain a minimum Physica requirement such as:-

HEIGHT:- General Male 165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm.

CHEST:- Male 85cm while Female 79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases.

The selection is of three tire test:-

CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam

Civil Service Main Exam

Personal Interview

IPS Stands for Indian Police Service.

IPS examination is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.


::::::Eligibility criteria::::::

The candidate should be complete graduation or any equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

The candidate must be an indian origin.


::::::Age criteria::::::

For General candidates--> 21 years to 30 years,

For OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33 years,

For SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35 years.



::::::Selection procedure::::::

Civil services preliminary examination,

Civil services mains examination,

Personal interview.


Number of attempts:-

4 times for General candidates,

7 times for OBC candidates,

No limit for SC/ST candidates.

If you want to become an IPS officer first you need to crack the civil service exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.

Graduate candidates are applicable.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidate should complete graduation from a recognized university of india in any stream

There is no need of marks in graduation level

Minimum age limit for this exam is 21 and maximum 30 years

Upper age relaxation for reserved candidates

3 years for OBC candidates

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india.

In India Several IPS coaching institute are grooming the candidate and are producing successful candidate every year.they impart great presentation skills to the candidates which will be of great use to the candidate ti suceed in spite of the heavy competition

For Getting into the Civil Service like IPS is a tough Task.Every Year Lakhs of Candidates appears for a limited number of seats even though,most of the candidates appearing for the IPS examination are well-aware of the what to learn for the examination, most of them find it difficult to present the know Information in Paper .

IPS Eligibility :

And also eligible final year appearing Candidates
There is no restriction on min percentage of Bachelor Degree

IPS - Indian Police Services.

The exam for IPS is conducted by UPSC- Union Public service commission.

If you wish to become an IPSofficer, then you will have to appear for CSAT exam.

Eligibility criteria for CSAT-

1. Candidate should be of Indian origin.

2- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

3- Age - 21-30 years.

There are three stages of this exam -

1- Preliminary exam
2- Main exam
3- Interview

1.Civil Services Preliminary Examination or Civil Services Aptitude Test(CSAT):-

The exam contains questions on –
General Studies, comprehension skill, verbal and
quantitative aptitude and communication skills.

2.Main Examination-

Those who qualify Preliminary round appear for Main examination.

The Main examination comprise of following papers.

Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper
English Qualifying Paper
General Essay type paper
General Studies(Paper-I&II )
Optional subject-I(Paper-I&II )
Optional subject-II(Paper-I&II )

Hi Friend.....

Yes, you are eligible for IPS with Your BA graduation

but, first you can appear for Civil Examination which is conducted for IAS/IPS service by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones

before applying for civil Examination you must be fulfill the some eligibility criteria's which is required for Civil Examination

i.e.

>> You must have a any bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university, final appeared students also eligible for this examination , there is no percentage required for this examination

>> Your age should between 21 years to 30 years if you are a belong general category

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

>> You should be a citizen of India
