Dear Aspirant,

First of all it is really good to see your enthusiasm towards NASA. You haven't mentioned your qualifications in your question.

NASA is a well known Space Organisation in the world and therefore it is obvious that its selection procedure must be tough as well.

If you're a school student, then I would advise you to focus on the following subjects because those are the basics of every exam in every Scientific field.

1) Mathematics
2) Physics

These are the two main and Important subjects which are the basis of Astronomy since there are immense number of calculations in Astronomy.

After your schooling, to be an astronaut you need to specialise in Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering at an advance level.

For more information on "How to Apply" you can visit the NASA website:

www.hr.arc.nasa.gov/students/index.html

and for information on Job Opportunities you can visit the following website:

www.nasajobs.nasa.gov

Good Luck
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
