Please tell me how and where can I get admission to study medical lab science in India?

For Medical Lab Science, candidates must have 12th passed with minimum 50%marks and for SC/ ST , and OBC Category Minimum 45%marks.

The duration of this course is 3 years and 6 semesters.

How and where to get admission in Medical Lab science?

The candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
For SC/ST/OBC students, the minimum marks requirement is 45%. Students passing 10+2 should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects.

Duration is 3 years.

1. You need to secure a minimum pass percentage in their 10+2 examination in the science stream with PCMB as compulsory subjects to be eligible for the BSc MLT course.

2. The colleges and universities that offer BSc MLT courses provide admissions to the students on the basis of entrance examinations conducted by the individual institute and some private institutions also provide direct admissions to the students.

Procedure to get admission in Medical Lab Science:-

Candidate who have passed 12th or equivalent with Biology or Mathematics as one of their subjects can opt her undergraduate course.

So in order to study microbiology as a separate field you need to complete your higher secondary level and then you can apply for Microbiology course. Only secondary level of understanding would not help of you to study microbiology.
